You can bring in coolers, snacks, drinks, etc. We brought chairs to sit on outside around our SUV which was nicer than all cramming in the back. Their website says that larger vehicles should park towards the back, but that doesn't always happen. Also, lots of people come in vans, SUVs, and trucks and park backwards to watch the movie, so there is a chance you view will be blocked if you are in a smaller car. That didn't happen to us, but I saw it happen to others. Keep in mind that there are always those last minute arrivals who think they are going to squeeze their car between you and the car next to you. By the time the movie started however, it was packed. We arrived at 7:00 and there were only 5 cars there. Perhaps because it was opening weekend, I'm not sure. Most movies are a double feature which also ups the value since you're watching two movies, but, we went to see Cinderella and that was playing solo. They run specials on Tuesdays were it's $5 per person for adults. It's a great deal if you have younger kids. It's a worthwhile experience if you know what to expect before going. My family and I went to the drive-in this weekend and had a nice time. We really enjoyed our evening as it is a low cost activity with the novelty value added in! It's really good to have the sound coming from your car stereo as it's like having your own surround sound. There is a refreshment building with toilets. The ground is slightly banked in places to make sure everyone gets a good view. We went on a Monday night which meant it was very quiet and not many other vehicles around, so we had a really good unobstructed view. She then told us the frequency we needed to tune our radio into and we headed over to the screen. We pulled up at the entry kiosk and payed our $6.50 and told the assistant which movies we wanted to watch. The baby was passed from adult lap to adult lap and his cries didn’t bother the other moviegoers. The six-year-old sat in his booster and the four-year-old was on the seat beside him. The kids loved sitting in the car huddled under a blanket wearing pajamas and watching a movie screen OUTSIDE. ![]() (We abide by consistently early bedtimes in my house.)
